Hi all

I don't usually come in here as usually find it hard to find the time just to enter competition, but been signed off work for a week with mumps I don't even feel that unwell, just have a fat wobbly face, it's just the contagious issue which has got me signed off. Never had more than a day off before so a week is going to feel like a lifetime! The dog is dead chuffed to have some company though!

Who else is here then to keep me company?

I got my tote bag win from FB comp today & also got a LWE to say I was a runner up in a comp that PPD posted :T Got a £250 off a break in Cornwall :j

Phew!! can't stay long must dash

New home front update:

found out this morning that the decorator will be finished this evening

managed to order some new carpets this morning and they are being fitted tomorrow

also ordered a new fridge and electric cooker which is being delivered on Saturday

also found out this morning from the stepson that one of the neighbours is a man with a transit van and that he will probably be able to move us over the weekend

so the move could be on for Saturday or Sunday :eek::eek:

in the middle of cooking lunch now then it's back to the packing again

van just bought the pimms hamper from misslinda's posting,
it's brilliant, got a disposable bbq, all the utensils, ice boxes, blanket etc, have taken a piccie, hopefully get it on the piccie

first time ever won from them & been entering them years, so shows it's always worth entering
busy as always, thursdays, mag comps, like to get them done out the way for weekend :j

Wow that seemed like a long hour!!!

Glad to see so many wins. Well done Wingobins and Well done Korky on winning from your own post. Both well deserved.

GeorgeBee - I had a week off work a fortnight ago with an absess under a tooth and I looked like elephant man and was very cheesed off, but throwing myself into comps kept me distracted. Hope you feel better soon.

I am going on hols on Saturday and so as well as usual packing etc this time I have also done some "MSE preparation". I.E. Made sure I have entered every comp I need to up to end of August. Bought a dongle for lappy so I can enter "Dailies" if I get a chance (Hubbies idea lol), and checked out the Argos clearance where we are going for a few bits we havent been able to get locally. Sad I know!
