Hi Toodle, Sorry you have had a bad day. I thought I was having a great day, managed to get in touch with someone at last about my £1,000 cheque prize and they said someone would be in touch soon to organise some publicity for it. In other words I've been waiting for the mail everyday and it isn't being posted! So was quite cheery about that but then the freezer started defrosting and making noises ,so we have taken everything out cleaned drain holes etc and the noise has stopped so keeping fingers crossed the door hadn't quite been shut properly. It is two days out of its guarantee. It was a massive job getting it out from the wall to check things - think I will cry if it is still defrosting, Hope your day is getting better now.

Aww I hope your freezer's sorted now-fingers crossed. 2 days out of guarantee? Sods law isn't it?

Congrats on winning the money-even if it hasn't been sent out yet lol, hopefully it won't be long. Have you anything in mind to spend it on ??

My day's no better unfortunately...had friend pop by, stood talking to her on the doorstep as my house looks like it's been burgled :o and she's got three kids, loads of animals, is always doing something and her house is immaculate! Makes me feel very inferior! I don't know her well enough to let her see my house in bombsite mode :rotfl:

I've had another two knocks on the door...one from the scrap man and one trying to talk me into changing to talktalk...plus two loads of charity bags pushed through. Any excuse for the dogs to bark and they will, so have a grumpy toddler doing anything in her power to stay awake  Now she'll have to stay up or she'll be up all night, meaning I have a couple more hours of grumpiness...I might send hubby out for a bottle of wine when he gets home lol
Toodles-SAHM to a beautiful 3 year old DD, Baby #2 on the way!
Just started comping 02/11/11 Everything crossed!

    Well done on your win.

Strangely enough, my fridge freezer has just decided to die on me - 2 months out of guarantee!

Didn't notice until all the food was nicely defrosted !!!

I'm afraid my house is always untidy too! The win was really a holiday in Ibiza for two so I am putting it towards a holiday for the four of us to go to Tenerife in Oct 2011! Had already booked next years summer hol so having an extra one.(greedy or what?):)

    :hello: Everyone,

Sorry to hear that things have defrosted and not working.I have had a lovely day,Went off to Asda this morning to get a family size Birds Eye Chicken pie for free with bag of peas.Mum and Dad came over, took the pie to their house and Mum said I could have the peas :rotfl:.It was thanks to yesterdays News of the World Newspaper.

Went to see my friends in town and then came home for lunch, decided to take my friends puppy for a walk but she had already just been out so I left her there and went on my own for a nice walk.

    love and light,

    Hi All

I know this is off topic but I know lots of you have kids and I wanted to post on here to make sure all my comping buddies benefit...

Theres a thread on Grabbit for 1p Tesco finds, and I have just added details of a £12.97 toy called "Cuponk" going through at a 1p.

Pic below and you will need to go through a busy self serve till. Good Luck XXXX
