Morning All!

Have had a few days off comping but Im back raring to win something exciting:j

Massive thanks to PPD, I went to Accessorize for a hat on Saturday and found one straight away, you are an :A

Having a little fun with wee man at the moment and nursery. He is fine when I drop him off but 20-30 mins later he is sobbing his heart out wanting his Auntie and to go home and watch tv.

They have asked her to stay with him for a few weeks (Im so lucky to have her looking after him whilst I am at work) to see if he settles in.

Has anyone else had any experience of this?

well after catching up on comps yet again, i am behind again:rotfl: so am not comping at the moment, taking some time to myself as was ill last week plus doing loads of holiday stuff, plus got to clean the house top to bottom:eek: hubby has 10 days off soon then back on for 1 day then has 3 weeks off, dont see the point of the 1 day back?? weird

he is doing a rospa course at work just now and he has to do homework in the evenings plus do a project, he is loving that! :rotfl:

Hi everyone,

Sorry you are problems with ds at nursery eviledna. Never had that problem, it was the other way, they didn't want to be left and cried then but were fine minutes later. Once he make a few good friends he'll be fine.

The time is going in for your holiday princess pixiedust, it does take some organising.

morning ladies and gents hope you are all well never posted in here before but hoping you lovely people can give me some suggestions. My dad is taking early retirement (hes 55) in October after 37 years as a scientist for NHS and for his pressie I have got a wicker hamper and filled it with things. So far ive got gradening tools, winter bulbs to plant, a book about Burnley football club, Burnley chcolates, a cookery book, fishing dvd, thermas flask, soap saying Dad, a book token for WH Smiths, a joke book about retirement, and some scratch cards. Just wondering if anybody has any suggestions for any other good retirement sort of gifts I could put in ? Thank you for any help and suggestions. Hope everyone has a good and lucky day xxxxxxx

aww thats a great idea sheils6 i'll add that to the list of things to buy ! thank you ! iam putting on a little party for him and buying a cake and stuff. actually quite excited lol. My mum is taking him for a holiday and some theatre trips so the toiletry bag would be great ! think i'll take a look in boots on my way to college thanks xxxxx
