Spent the afternoon tidying dd's room while dd1 was at party. It's still not tidy! Dont know where she's accumulated so much junk!
Not talking to my ds cos he called me a fat cow :eek: ....told him not to call me fat :rotfl:
No really he knows he's upset me not just for swearing but for calling me that. He was trying to get round me by making me laugh...not giving in that easy!

I sort of was expecting McCoy and Richard Hills (the jockeys) to win and Laaheb is very consistent as a horse but I was screaming like mad for Markab to win and he came first 12-1 but Man of the Match came third only 4-1..what made me feel like crying is that I picked Confessional first then crossed it out on the paper and put Man of the Match instead ..Confessional came first 14-1 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: I would have had about £1500 have I not changed my mind!!! Oh well... not meant to be, got the Strongbow win instead so can't be greedy

It's all the luck but I will try not to invest so much emotional energy watching the races to avoid such an anti-climax
Enough of my moaning now

Sally, get your family hooked on comping, you will guarantee that they won't complain after that

My OH left his mobile for me & said he had free texts & calls all weekend if I want to use it for comping...so I have! Little does he know its not always free when entering comps! :rotfl:

That would be great Sally if your family got into comping too, no more moaning! I've even got my kids wombling for ring pulls, comp labels....anything with a comp on! My sisters become obsessed too!

Hi, just celebrating my first few wins of a brolly, koala, scotch glasses and cinema tickets, so I'm no longer a comping virgin. Thanks to all peeps who contribute from a full time working dad to a lovely daughter, if only I could win her some posh clothes, that would be great.
