Happy Christmas everyone, thanks for all the comps posted in 2010 and here's to a happy and prosperous 2011.
Talking about the new year, has anyone had any thoughts re challenge for 2011. I did ask a few pages back but my post was drowned out in the talk of the Mirror comp so was missed. I didn't do 2010 challenge, I wasn't as organised at the beginning of 2010 as I am now so hope to join the 2011 challenge with glee

Merry Xmas everyone,
I have a roboform question. I brought roboform at the begining of the year & ive got a new laptop for xmas. I have my ID number & I clicked the link to re activate Roboform onto my new lappy.
But it dosen't work. Ive got roboform on new lappy now but a completely new one & all my passwords & logins have not come onto my new lappy. I changed back to old lappy & sure enough there they are. Back onto new lappy now & would like to know how I can get my old roboform onto new lappy.
Thank You xxx

Thanks so much for finding the link Amylucky?
Oh Sugar,
Thats me out then. I did the pro activator & it say's ive reactivated it but its a brand new roboform not my hundreds of loging & passwords.
And I haven't a clue how to do the other options. I will come back tomorrow give my brain a rest see if that helps but doubt it.
I guess I will have to write down all my logings from the old lappy & enter them in manually,....oh dear can see this taking a few day's.

I don't use the ROboform online, but this is how I manually keep my info the same on my laptop and netbook. Back up your roboform data to flashdrive and then transfer your saved data to new laptop.
Go to ROboform menu, then Options-User Data - Back upMy light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly

I'm not sure where to put this - so I thought I'd put it here.
Some comps say they are only announced on the site of entry, or only announced in a newsletter (WAOS).
I worry (I should get out more) that I will win and miss my win - either by not reading the newsletter or not checking back, and that googling will not pick up my name in the winners announcement.
Is it possible/would it be a good idea for any comps with this in the terms to have WAOS to be added to the text (either by the OP or by the next member to notice it and post it under) and for a seperate 'expired - WAOS' section for any that have that in the text (a daily/weekly search of the current expired with just that term should highlight any needing shifting by mods/board admin).
Then anyone with a minute/who reads the endless newsletters/worried they will miss it could keep an eye on the WAOS ones, post onto them when the winner is announced, and as members here we could search just that thread for our names once a week or so.
Blimey, that sounded so simple in my head.
Given that I win so little anyway, I don't want to be winning things I don't know I've won - especially not the ski holidays I've been entering!
Can anyone make sense of that - does anyone think it's a good idea - and if it is, what do I do to suggest it to someone who can do something about it?0 -
There is a section here in iwiwiw that hjb123 started that you can add to for 'WAOS' if you wanted to keep note.
And if anyone happens across winners lists they are posted in iwiwiw tooJo x2007:£5181.09 2008: £6619.70 2009: £4284.49 2010: £5213.14 2011: £4980.62 2012: £3188.52

I don't have either of these downloaded and having read a few posts about - not sure about the benefits of them and how easy they are to use.
Could someone please point me in the right direction for these useful comping tools. I wonder sometimes if this is the reason why I don't win "big". Don't get me wrong but I have had some fantastic wins - but it would appear that because I enter "manually" I am probably way behind in the number of comps that I can do!
Please help me become a better comper! :rotfl::rotfl:

Ru, I held back for a long long time in getting Roboform but now I can't live without it. It's not difficult to master and everyone will agree that you can enter competitions really quickly allowing you to enter more. There are occasions when it doesn't fill the fields correctly but they are few and far between.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
