Going on previous comps this doesn't seem right. I wonder if they made a mistake in their 'programming' of the comp and accidentally gave all 5 prizes away to the first 5 entrants instead of spacing them out!! Grrrr.

They might have realised that most entries are in the afternoon and have decided to spice it up a little - to keep entrants on their toes????

    Oh well, ..........

Well just think of all the money you'll save on texts/phone calls - does seem a bit odd but i think everyone was entering after lunchtime so perhaps they decided to give the early birds a chance - also if the comp is published in the paper what times do the phone/text lines open?

i text in early and got the message sorry your not a winner and there is 999 prizes left. by 9am there was 975 left, then there was messages that comp is closed. i think there was a mistake by the mirror saying there was 1000 prizes in the messaging system instead of 5. so 25 people won early on and instead of carrying on with todays comp they closed the lines and i assume they will give prizes to the 25 winners this morning. iyswim.

btw i got the comp info from here http://forums.loquax.co.uk/showthread.php?t=330575

Whoopsie sounds like someones made a boo-boo then! There's only 3 days of this left so wonder what the rest of this weeks prizes will be. I get the details of the comp from the Daily Mirror link here http://www.mirror.co.uk/fun-games/competitions/

Edited to say i've just noticed on the comp details that they say they've given away £90k worth of prizes so far, the comps a £100k giveaway so that mean (including today) there's £10k worth of prizes over the next 4 days :-)

I live in N.Ireland, so I always check terms & conditions carefully, because sometimes comps are mainland only. I was entering a comp on T3 the other day and noticed that their Ts&Cs state they are open to "residents of Great Britain" so I wrote to query this as N.Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, but not part of Great Britain, which is just England, Scotland and Wales. Sometimes this is just an oversight, so it pays to check.

Alas, today I've had confirmation - all Future publishing sites (Total Film, T3, SFX and many more listed here) are only open to England, Scotland and Wales and not open to N.Ireland.:(

I feel for you Ness, that cuts out an awful lot of nice comps doesn't it?

Has anyone anyone received their Beyblades from the Mirror yet? I did chase them up last week but haven't received a reply as yet. It's well over the 28 days, so if no reply by the end of the week, will chase up with the ISP www.isp.org.uk.

On a brighter note, having received only 1 nail polish from the Cadbury/Bliss comp despite 7 winning messages, I received 3 more today.

    Hope everyone gets extras.
