Phoned up this time, got to the end of the call then instead of saying 'sorry, you're not a winner' the line went dead and said 'the other person has cleared' grrrrrrr waste of a quid (when ive already wasted about 20 today) Was only 23.59 on my clock

Right, Ive worked out it Penguins of Madagascar, just missed the 13.30, so set to record it at 4.30 (I can do that all week if that helps) will post on the correct thread later on x

What do fellow compers think is meant by "bulk entries" - am entering a comp at the moment (the Barclays ticket one) and it says in the T&Cs no third party or bulk entries - what does a promotor class as "bulk entries"?

That is aimed at the companies where you pay them cash and they enter you in some competitions that you could enter for free yourself anyway.
Many competitions include that in the T&Cs, it's also why some have the Captcha or something like it which prevents automated entries (so no ITV comps for the "pay someone else to enter it for you" sites).

i also contacted Wrigleys who are promoting (paying for competition)

heres copy of reply . are they not contradicting themselves!!!
