Advise on loan needed.....
As per some of my previous posts- I have an out standing ccj from years ago which is hampering my credit rating. It was from a period when I had my head was in the sand and I fully accept that this is my problem- I currently am managing my finances absolutley fine, earn over 20k etc
I am terrified of the bailiffs coming knocking and wanted to get a loan to cover the ccj etc.(It is too much to pay off in one go)
Problem is that naturally because of the ccj I can not get a loan now-
Question is- Is there such a thing as getting a loan and someone going "guarantor" for you? i.e If I walked into my bank with someone willing to go guarantor- would I get a loan?
Hope this all makes sense!!

Why dont you contact the DCA direct and make a repayment plan. That way you will propbably pay a lower amount monthly and freeze the interest rather than taking out a new loan, which will have higher interest and over a longer period of time? You will be replacing one debt with another. Once you enter a plan with the DCA you wont have the worry of havng baliffs knocking at the door.0
