I want a particular spectacle frame, please help

hi, I would like to buy a style of spectacle, rayban i belive they are, I have not found the right frame or model number, but have an idea on the kind I want. (ray ban wayfarer or similar)
For the time being I would like to just buy the frame, with blank lenses, as I dont currently wear eye glasses. So they would just be for style for moment, and i guess i could put prescription lenses in them whenever i wish or need.
What is the best way to go about this?
I dont want to just buy online, as I have no idea about what will fit me.
Should I go to opticians to get my exact size?
How does size work? Do the staff in the shop measure you and tell you? Or do you just try on diff specs to get an idea yourself?
And then just buy the frames online?
(or do opticians tailor make the glasses/frame for your size of face/head and your nose shape/contour etc? so it fits perfectly..)?
what if the frame came in sunglasses only?
Could i take them to optitians and get them to put blank lenses in them?
