Debate House Prices

The thread:
"100,000 new gardens must be built ev!ery year for the growing population"
Was a legitimate refuff to the ridiculous spin of:
"100,000 new homes must be built every year for immigrants"
Moderator! By relegating this post to the 'money savers arms', you have used your power in an ignorant and ill considered way. The 70% committe invite you to reinstate the above post immediately (and by the way, the 70% club are not impressed with your censorship of the thread about beavers).
If the above post is not reinstated by midday tomorrow, then the 70% club suggests that MSE Martin comes on this website to justify this behaviour. 12 hours!

Its good to hear from a fellow club member.
The matter is somewhat out of my hands now. The 70% club will meet at 1 p.m. tomorrow to review the matter. If my post is judged to have fallen short of 70% club standards by virtue of insufficient wit, intelligence or insight, MSE will be off the hook. If not, sanctions may be imposed based on the percieved severity of the act of censorship.

While we're waiting for the non appearance of Martin - and the subsequent moving of this thread to the Arms (which will please Graham immensely as he can have a 2nd go at the beavers there), I've got some 50% listings for the 70% club to warm up on:
Development of 10 houses. Odd one imho as those doors look "typical council" to me. Only four sold, leaving six languishing ... so, five are now for sale, but three of those are going to auction at £85-100k, those that sold in 2005 went for £150-155k. Could be a strategy to stimulate interest, but they might crash and burn if there's no interest.

Oooh ... links don't work. Odd that.0
