tesco double the diffrence?

hi can someone help please do tesco still do doule the diffrence if they over charge? they have charged me for trousers today twice, i have phoned and they say i can go in for refund but can i get double the diffrence??
will one day be able to go to shop half way though th month with out having to count the pennys.

Yes, they do still do double the difference but they don't always offer it unless you ask for it.0

Strictly speaking, DTD applies to misprices i.e. being charged more for an item than is stated on the label. This is not a misprice, you have been charged twice. You may get DTD, but this would be at the discretion of the advisor.Gone ... or have I?0
