Isn't PFI a good example of the private sector milking the taxpayer?

Or of governments lying to the taxpayer - pretending they are spending X while, in reality, spending Y.

No it's an example of abysmal management skills in the public sector and a government prepared to prostitute it's principles for the sake of a few good headlines

This is another appalling example of how Labour played fast and loose with your money. Because Gordon thought he had abolished boom and bust he didn't feel the need to extract value for money.

Thank god these monkeys are out.

And we got SLIMEY INSECTS instead

    Dont blame my mate Gordon.

Talking of Gordon "I won't do the lecture circut" Brown, he's apparently just signed up to the lecture circuit. Speeches worth 62k a pop, and they have to pay more if he is required to hold hands with his missis :)

It was never going to be very long before he started "pimping" himself around the world........How much is his personal security going to cost us?.....Probably not as much as Blairs, pretty much open season on him........

I dunno about the security. But apparently the people employing him are required to pay for one first class seat, and 3 business class seats. So asusme he's taking 3 people. 2 security guards, and he'll probably plonk his wife in an inferior seat too :D

His speeches however, are going to be a little unusual. As they are paying to hear what he really thinks, the initial speech willl be a mere warm up to the big speech.... It's over cheese and buscuits that the real speech will be aired to the audience.

One of the bodyguards will be linked up with a microphone, whereby the audience can gain insight into what brown really has to say.
