Has anyone booked through on the beach holidays before

Hi all,

I'm looking for a last minute holiday to Benidorm for around the 5th of September for a week.

I've found one I like the sound of on www.onthebeach.co.uk , I've never used this company before.

Has anyone had any experience with them? If I have a couple of queries about hold baggage.

I have booked a few times with OTB and not had any issues so far.
However, I understand that others have had issues - mainly with booking online only to receive a phone call later to say that the price has increased.

Like I say, this has never happened to me but, as with anything, you take a risk. It is up to you.

why?

go to holidaytruths, and look on there fourms, at the complaints one, and you will see how many people complain about them.

Now there will be some people out there who have booked with them and got good holidays, but lots do have problems,

if your looking at benidorm, why not try a diy, book your flight yourself, easyjet, ryanair, jet2, thomson, monarch,

then look at travelrepublic, lowcostholidays, alpharooms, thomson hotel only section,

and see if you can get it much cheaper.

transfers, shuttle direct usually do a return for about £17 per person, but if you look at http://www.prestigetoursspain.com/

they do a great price for a private transfer, because with shuttle direct, you sometimes can be on the bus for as long as an hour waiting for it to fill up.

I will have a look, but I know they don't have a good reputation when things go pear shaped.

I have booked flights through OTB for sept and accomm through first choice - just had a letter this week to say flight times have changed, however that happened as well in June through Thomas Cook going to Turkey!!

Each to their own but in future i will book a full package through first choice or thomson (same company i know but different band prices lol)

I seriously doubt you will be having any flights. You need to check asap.
