If you just want the free download then this Amazon offer is a good one - as long as you remember to cancel your subscription before the 14 days are up.

However, if you are thinking of joining as a longer term member then it's cheaper to join with their Discount AudibleListner offer of £3.99 per month for the first 3 months then £7.99 thereafter.

As a member you can download one book every month at no additional cost, whatever the list price of the book. Some are listed at nearly £30!

With the Amazon deal you get one free book, then you pay £7.99 a month as a member and can download an additional book each month. With this deal three books would cost you £15.98.

With the Discount AudibleListner offer the same three books would cost you just £11.97 - a saving of over four pounds.

Once you have visited the website with the Amazon offer it remembers this and only shows you the Amazon offer of 14 days free. In order to see the Discount AudibleListner offer close your browser window, open another window and visit the audible website. When you click the Join Now link you'll see the Discount AudibleListner offer.

They also offer a Discount PremiumListener offer, the sums are almost the same as the Discount AudibleListner offer except you can download two books a month at no additional charge. The first three months cost you £7.99 (so you get 6 books at £4 each) then £14.99 per month, so £7.50 per book.
