waterstones have the sony ebook reader pocket edition in pink or silver for just £99.99 plus £4.95 delivery by courier. RRP £169.00

OH has one of these and thinks they are fantastic so i have ordered one for myself :D

    That is a really nice price for it, I guess the Ebook reader price wars have finally started over here :D (the kindle is now £110 for the basic v3, but i'd take a Sony over a Kindle as the Sony's take epub format natively).

    On a related note https://www.baen.com have some nice sci-fi/fantasy ebooks (some free, others cheap), and gutenberg has a load of out of copyright books free :D

    I've gone for the 3G Kindle. £150 but the free 3G access makes it worth the extra, for me at anyrate. The epub point's a very fair one, but most of the books I want are out of copyright, so it isn't an issue for me. Plenty of free books on the Amazon website, plus a load more elsewhere in AZW (Kindle) format.
