Tesco £9 meal deal - FREE (glitch)

Bought a Meal Deal in Tesco today
We checked the receipt when we got home and found we had been charged for each item but no discount = £19 in our case.
Returned to shop and was given £10 back x 2 = £20
The reason was the Ogio wine was not recognised as part of the Meal Deal. The shelf was quickly cleared of Ogio wines!
That was Crediton, but this may work elsewhere - worth a try!

they had the wrong wines out, should have been....

Gallo Five Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz 75Cl
Cuvee De Midi Blanc Vin De Pays Vaucluse 75Cl
Cuvee De Midi Rouge Vin De Pays Vaucluse 75Cl0 -
I don't think this is going to work for most people. You'd have to find a customer services person willing to honor it and claim it was misleading in the first place. In my local one they didn't actually tell you what was in the meal deal and what wasn't although they did have a meal deal section0

When I go into Tesco.com, the wines showing in the £9.00 finest meal deal are :
Ogio frizzante 75 cl
Ogio zinfandel rose 75 cl
Gallo 5 oaks cabernet sauvignon shiraz 75clStill virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.0 -

The wines were on the display together with a shelf edge ticket naming each of the Ogio wines (red, rose and white).I don't think this is going to work for most people. I was going to take a photo to show customer service but it wasn't needed. As I was getting my double refund another customer was there and heard what I was getting so she asked for double the diffeence too.0 -

If I am planning on buying any of the Meal Deals I always print out the options before visiting my local store. There always seems to be an issue and double the difference turns the purchase into a bargain.0

I had the same at my Tesco, but queried the total bill before paying. After quite a delay they took off the puddings and rang up another pudding which triggered the discount - even though I had Ogio red wine. Which is quite decent IMHO, but not worth the claimed price of £8.990

Does anyone know if the 2 mains glitch is still working?0
