loan paid off

I don't post very often but had to say thank you to everyone on here as we have just paid the final payment of our bank loan and it is the first time in 17years that we don't have a loan. We still have two credit cards that are both on 0% but we can use the money we were paying on the loan to pay them off in the next year.:)
My OH would normally have talked me into another loan for a new car at this stage but I have been inspired by this board to refuse to do it again and he is now starting to see things my way:D He is getting new glasses next month which will be paid in cash because we don't have a loan payment to make.
