I've got 2 five pounds John Lewis/Waitrose vouchers. I was going to see what was on offer in Waitrose, but I think the food there is very expensive. Does anyone know if Tesco will accept them? In the 'Updated Printable Vouchers' forum it says:
'TESCO
Only accepts coupons when you buy the product. They also will accept conditional spend coupons from Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Asda, Co-op, Morrison's, Marks & Spencer and Boots. terry.leahy@uk.tesco.com'

My vouchers are not conditional spend vouchers, but like gift vouchers.

Thanks.

I also have a £10 voucher and was wondering the same thing. If i get an answer when I send an e-mail I will report back.
  • As far as I am aware those conditions are for promotional vouchers like '£3 off a £30 shop'

if they say no - and you are not desperate to spend them - to get the most for you money I would save them until January and get some bargains from John Lewis! Last year I got some gift wrap / cards / presents at 75% off - fantastic quality too as they're from JL :)

I asked today at customer services and they don't accept gift vouchers. I'll look out for some reductions. Thanks to everyone for their advice.

I note that these comments go back to 2010. Does anyone know if Tesco still accepts conditional spend coupons and money-off coupons from other stores, as per the Tesco quote, two years on? (As long as the conditional spend/specified goods are made of course.)
