I have the one for double glazing and it's useless. The outside one falls off when you swivel it to clean and it drips everywhere while your trying to attach it.
If the magnets touch then it takes a strong man to seperate them.

No good for double glazed windows, if thats what you have then you need this one http://www.tvshopoutlet.com/window-wizard-double-glazing-p-105.htmlI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I have it too, it is seriously cr*p:( It does not fall off, but how the hell do you get into the corners???
£9.99? if anyone wants one - they can have mine;)0 -
I'm sure there's a price different between £9 & £9.99 lol0

I have heard these are rubbish its a gimmick0

You are correct CB, I also got my finger trapped between the two magnets....completely my own fault, and it was really quite funny (or so my son thought), trying to seperate the two parts with only one free hand. Good entertainment value for someone you don't like, but absolute rubbish for cleaning the windows:)0

Common sense tells me to avoid these. But, I have some double-glazed windows above a conservatory, and something like this would be good. The problem is my windows have some leading (though only a mm or 2) on the outside, is there any chance this sort of thing might work?
ThanksStompa0 -
Stompa - they sort of work... They will do the centre of your windows, but it is not as easy as it looks on the ads. The edges and corners? no chance! tbh, not worth it, I bought a window cleaners blade thingy and it is just as quick, if not quicker to use that. The results are better too! I just wanted it to work to clean outside windows, upstairs, but above conservatory where window cleaner won't venture. Would not use again, just not worth it. Sorry:(0

Stompa - I wouldn't chance it if I were you. :eek:I :heartpuls M.S.E.
