I seem to have been only charged £7.04 for my 240 cans plus a few bottles. Great result!

ok no sign of delivery 6 hrs after promised :(, have called customer services, am awaiting a call from the store, bet its going to be cancelled :(,
No one said it was gonna be easy!
  • Just had our delivery completed -
Pepsi regular 2 x 12 pack ordered - nil delivered - nil on invoice.
    kit kat chunky 24 x 4pack ordered - 47 delivered - 24 on invoice.
    Toffee Crisp 2 x 4pack order - 2 delivered - 2 on invoice.
    Been charged £6.99

We did tell the driver there was too many kit kats, who said 'keep em, you're not being charged for em' lol

    So if our calculations are right 49 x 4 packs = 196 chocolate bars @ £6.99 = less than 4p a bar!

    Food for thought -
Best Before 02/07 - for which there is aprox 161 days until end of feb - so we have to eat more than a bar day or they expire! Guess we'll have to give some away - will keep the neighbours happy
  • I went in store today and got 2 x 12 pk used 2 coupons and got them for 60p very pleased, better that getting them delivered
  • 120 cans of lovely pepsi sitting in my kitchen, best bit was they messed up delivery and had to come back 20 mins later so they refunded delivery charge. thanks op
  • I ordered from the Glasgow store on 19 September for delivery on 22 September. I stupidly thought an early order might guarantee delivery, but I received a telephone call an hour before my delivery time informing me that the order was now cancelled as the promotion was no longer valid.

I contacted their customer service number and the person on the other end of the phone said the promotion was still on (I checked this online too) and that he would get the manager of the Clydebank store to call me.

After 4 hours I still had heard nothing, so I e-mailed. By now, on Sunday 24 September, I'm still waiting.

I made this order as I was having a party on Friday and thought that the delivery would help me in my plans as I had loads of other things to organise.

As a result of the above, Sainsburys got my business and Asda have lost an online shopping customer.

ASDA CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE !!!!!!
  • My order didn't turn up fully so I have 24 cans of pepsi and 48 max for £2.99 :) the still haven't charged my card but the order is coming us as closed on the Asda site. So works out at 4.1p a can :)

I got mine delivered last night. Only problem was they delivered nine cases instead of ten although the delivery note did say 10.

Driver said that as they were on special offer he had to refund me for two cases but I could keep the extra case, which I thought was quite good. It was only after he was away I realised it would have been an even better buy if he had only refunded me for one case i.e. refunded £3.58 instead of £3.00 for the two.

    Anyway, I can't complain - 108 cans for £5.99 works out about 5.5p a can.

    This gets even better.

I just checked my accont online and instead of refunding me £3.00 for the two cases I have been refunded £7.18 which means I paid a grand total of £1.81 for 108 cans. Thanks again to the original poster for this great bargain!!
