Hi got a default in the post this morning from MBNA as previously stated Im on a DMP and just wondered if i have to respond in writing again when they know Im on a debt plan I find Im repeating myself over and over every couple of months with letters is this the norml process

Hi have trawled the internet for info on defaults from MBNA from what I can gather most of them are not valid due to either timescale wording or they send more than one is this correct Im just confused0

Sending you a default is often a creditors way of processing you through to the next level in their systems. If I remember with MBNA first of all they rang constantly, wrote me letters continued to apply interest and were a general pain. They sent me a default and suddenly accepted my payments, not applying interest. If you are on a DMP you will get defaults and they will register with credit reference agencies, I am not sure you can do much about it.Julie

file it away , being on a DMP = defaults0

Thats what I thought it costs more in paper and postage could try to claim back what its cost in repeated letters HA HA..0
