non arrival of postie AGAIN today. we are a block of flats. aside from the fact that this flat gets mail of some kind most days there is a delivery surely SOMEONE got post today or can the postie just rob and not be bothered to deliver?
Why don't you test the postman? Post a small box of something to yourself. Take it to the Post Office and get a certificate of posting and see what happens?0 -

that would be a good idea but I think like someone else here that the branded stuff that screams fox's or nivea etc doesnt get through and the non descript stuff does obviously as they cant see theres a freebie in there and not paper work
Then why not print off a small Label ? Like Olay/Nivea/Loreal .... you can get them from their sites , I would get a box as small as a lightbulb ,fill it with paper and drop in something that will make it rattle when moved ,like a soap bar box ,or an empty tube of something . Write a small note - you have stolen mail ,and this is recorded (or something like so) and stick the Commercial Label on the box while posting it to yourself ,recorded delivery .
He will either crap his pants if he opens it ,which in turn may stop him stealing your mail for a while ,or if any of your other neighbours are getting your mail and just not saying so (like mine was) it will give them a wee fright ,and you can then prove by recorded delivery it was signed for ,but not by you .
Last year my neighbour was getting my mail ,but I didn't know until my sons Psychologist came round for a first visit ,dropped a note to say she was here ,but put it in the wrong door . My neighbour never passed it on ,I found out a week later when the school called saying she was here and passed a note ,then we figured out it was to the wrong door . She even put in the note details of of my boy (private details about his progress and her own phone number) I was livid ,I then figured out that the neighbour was the one who received my last clubcard points (out tescos didn't bother with clubcard confirmation then) and spent them (£19),took free samples and 2 gifts from play.com (got a refund). She even refused a delivery man ,when he asked if he could leave a parcel with him . Iv no idea why she dislikes my family so . I posted an A4 piece of paper in my close wall pointing out that theft of mail was a crime ,I expected this to be changed ASAP and I would take no action . This was read by everyone living in my block and 2 days later I received my first free sample in 2 months . I kept the letter up for weeks ,just incase .
Sorry for the long mail :rotfl:I wish you luck ,and hope this get sorted out for you once and for all!I once prayed to god for a bike, but quickly found out he didnt work that way...so I stole a bike and prayed for his forgiveness .........0 -
