Flickering_Ember wrote: »Thanks. Same to you. It's always a surprise and always random; the newsletter does not seem targetted given that some people were sent netbooks, cameras and laptops and TVs and I've bought and reviewed more than one of each item there. I like the randomness of it although I do wonder how they "target".
Same here, most months, but this month they got it right! I have a 'leccy toothbrush on the way (have reviewed a lot of health and beauty stuff, fair enough) and also A Brief History of Mathematics Audio CD (I'm a Maths teacher and have reviewed a LOT of Maths 'stuff'!)Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... My list was not even remotely relevant; didn't pick anything from it. Oh well. I got a Cushelle koala through the door this morning.0 -

. Over on the Vine Forum somebody who posted a highly critical review was wondering if that had affected her list as after giving a negative review of a £200 Vine vacuum cleaner her goodies had dropped right off. Mine tend to be cyclical - a poor month is usually followed by a better one. There is some randomness though - two of my best ever review items were in the same newsletter.
They stopped sending me the newsletters a while back, so I 'refreshed' my details last night and promptly received the email about not being able to pass ownership of Vine items over this morning.
I am annoyed at this, I'd given good 'as sold' books to my local library, who were really happy to receive them.
Sorry to hijack the thread! Sent for Estee Lauder freebie this morning.
Mypure skincare are now requesting you send SAE's. I may well do this as if it doesn't arrive, I'll know something is up and that my goodies are definitely going missing!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... As for transferring ownership of items; you can bin/dispose of them after 6 months. Some people just peel the stickers off and give them to charity shops.0
