again nothing freebie related just dull looking bank type letters. as I have won a good few comps lately and am expecting a great deal of freebies i think its time for another call to Royal mail complaints..

Royal Fail can be so nasty. They used to leave red cards for me because ringing the bell was too much effort. More than once I chased the postie down the street only to find they didn't even have my parcel on them; they CBA to carry it and so just left a red card....cost me a train fare to a dodgy part of town to get it (3 miles from my then house).

I then complained once when they threw one of the few parcels they bothered to deliver, over the wall and broke it...they accused me of lying and shouted at me in their sorting office in front of a whole queue of customers.

I got a parcel shot from my kitchen window once. Makeup (nail varnish) was inside, fortunately nothing broke!

Imagine my boyfriend's surprise when he arrived home (I was at the hospital) and saw a parcel on the kitchen floor...

When I was still in Canada, I received my University diploma through the mail with the sticker "don't fold, fragile", and it was clearly a diploma, with univerity enveloppe and all!!! Again, it was a chance they put it in those cardboard file, as not only the postman folded it, but he got it stuck in the mailbox (was living in an appartment) and I had so much trouble getting it out. When I did, the enveloppe was all torn. My University diploma! I sweat all those years for it...

Edit: this was supposed to be a quote to Flickering Ember's post.

I didn't get any mail at all today! That's really weird. I usually at least get junk mail / bills!

the very same has happened to me! SO ANNOYING!:mad:
i contacted them to complain, heard nothing back, typical. i said i will keep complaining til they do something about it. i can't afford to get the bus all the time to get it or pay 1.50 to have it redelivered to a PO so i will actually get it! so many times i've rearranged for redelivery to my house and they just put another red card though! GRR!

haven't had any freebies in AGES! expecting a couple things soon though so hopefully they will actually come :)
