Many years ago during quite an unhappy period of my life I was a competitions addict.
I was good at it too, the boost to my self-esteem was wonderful... not to mention all the great prizes! Specially remembered, the top of the range washing machine when mine was on its last legs, and the £1000 that arrived when I was between jobs

No freebies today, but I'm awaiting ... Much nicer than brown envelopes!
