When a company makes an offer like this it usualy means the debt can not be enforced through the courts or it is statute barred , this means you do not have to pay them a penny .i received a letter stating first aid for your finances etc...

Robinson Way are not known for being generous , if you accept an offer from them do it on your terms , send a letter stating that you will accept if they will not pursue you for the remainder of the debt , or sell what remains to another company , and this absolves you from all liability , cant help thinking there is something fishy about this ,its for a utility bill ( british gas) so a cca wouldnt be applicable here anyway..
