Can anyone recommend a good hair volumizing styling product?

I have really sensitive skin and haircare products tend to bring me out in blotches. I'm looking to a product to give me more volume/beachy hair. Can anyone recommend a good product that I can use?

  • Do you mean that tousled, slightly windswept, Baywatch kinda hair?

I use a salt solution for this kind of effect. I use a spray bottle and fill it with salt solution. Then I spray it over my hair and allow it to dry, volumising it with my hands (upside down). Its sounds awful, but cos it makes some of the hair stick together and gives it that mussed kind of look, I find it's great for tousled, beachy hair.

When I was it out, I condition really well. It hasn't had any ill effects on my hair.

belladonna I was going to suggest salt solution too. Its cheap and really effective - I just spray the crown after Ive washed my hair.

The only thing is not to do it too often as it will dry out the hair and might cause premature split ends etc

Another trick is to use dry shampoo, e.g batiste. They used to have only one formula but now have lots with different scents, also very cheap - a couple of quid!
