oops payday loan while on dmp - are they going to kick my butt?

Am I going to get a massive telling off from CCCS?

I have unfortunately taken some payday loans with a company while on my dmp (started as an emergency not just to like buy clothes or something!) - I emailed them to ask if I could include it on to my DMP as am struggling to pay it back and they emailed to say I need to call immediately to discuss as I have broken the terms of my DMP. Oops......are they going to refuse to deal with my DMP now or something?? Really worried now. Am going to call tomorrow.
Eek!!!

If they refuse to deal with my DMP can I go to another company?

It is possible CCCS will stop running the DMP. A term of the DMP is not to take out any further credit so you are progressing to being debt free.

If CCCS do stop running your DMP, you can go to another provider like NDL, PayPlan or CAP. DMPs are informal agreements so you can manage it yourself, but given you have taken out payday loans i would not recommend it. Whilst emergencies can happen they should be budgeted for as payday loans will screw you up, whether on a DMP or not. Most issues we get on here are caused or part caused by payday loans.
