Direct Auto Finance problem!
Basically what's happened.
I gave the car back to direct auto finance on a voluntary termination as per the aggrement and was in the 3rd year of a 4 year deal. However, in the contract there is a none cancellable insurance policy, therefore I agreed to pay that element back every month as per normal until October next year.
I checked my credit file yesterday and find they have put me 3 months in arrears on my credit file, no defaults have been sent and I am very very worried how this will now affect a mortgage application. I have to wait to tomorrow to speak to them. Any idea's on how this will look in regards a application? Can a company issue a arrears notice to experian with no knowledge to myself?
Help!
