i have a few times brought things from ebuyer.
i have seen some bad reports of a lack of customer service/support.
it was not until my last order that i had reason to complain.
i received a computer case which was damaged, had a cracked front plastic front, still useable.
so i mailed ebuyer about this, saying i was keeping the case as i needed it now and if they had any other damaged units that a good front that could be sent.
sent this on 30/12/04
reply on 03/02/05
said as they are not a manufacturer they do not supply replacement parts.
would i like a refund or replacement.
i went for refund.
now have full refund including the postage costs and i get to keep the case.
apart from the delay in replying, i am a satisfied customer.

apart from the 1 month delay......
I do hope there's an element of sarcasm in this post0 -
no!
really happy, honest.
when i received the case i could had returned it then. but i decided to keep it as the damage was more cosmetic and you do not really notice it. its just that it should had not been damaged in any way.
it was my choice to keep it, but i just thought i would send a mail to complain.
ebuyer did not have to do anything. so iam in praise of them as they have given me a free case.0 -
ebuyer sent the wrong item, when i emailed to tell them they said" keep the lead we will send you the correct one" also impressed by the service !!!!!!!!!! anyone want a cheap db25 to ieee 1284-c cable ?????????0

Still waiting for a reply to a eticket from 2 weeks ago - which I raised complaining that a return that i had made - and they had marked as 'replaced' and shipped to me had not been sent ( 'not allocated' in their system.)
ive made >10 orders to these guys and they are good value - but dont expect any after sales service
you cant email them
you cant ring them
and they dont reply to e-tickets
- and it seems - you can only have 1 e-ticket open at a time - so i have NO way to contact them now.
My story is not a one off. its commonplace - so BEWARE!0 -
Bought parts from them to build a PC, recieved them on new years eve.
Case was cracked, it took 3 weeks to get that replaced. 10 days just to get a RMA number to return the case.
Built the PC and either the motherboard or processor is faulty so am now waiting to return them. Just checked the status and they have finally accepted the RMA! I applied on the 26/01.
Not happy with there service, was better when you could phone them up and actually speak to someone. You send them an enote and it takes them a week to respond with an automated response!0 -
i ordered 4 items from them, paid for priority delivery, got three items then the fourth a week later. Complained when i first recieved the delivery, then edited the note when the fourth turned up, got an email saying they would refund the cost of priority delivery on the fourth item.
On the enotes front, you can add things to the exisiting note you have.Sometimes i surprise myself by being right.0
