CCCS DMP Questions

Hi i am currently £39000 in debt with 10 creditors and have sent off all paperwork to CCCS who can hopefully sort out a DMP for me . How long does it usually take to get it up and running . I have had to put the BT call Barring service Choose to refuse on my phone as i am getting daily calls from Creation ,KPR ,Moorcroft and Mercers etc . I have just had a letter from a local solicitor acting for NWCCS threatening me with court action so i rang them and informed them that CCCS were in the process of setting up a DMP for me . They asked me for my phone number but i declined to give it and then asked me for a CCCS reference number which i gave . I am just hoping that CCCS can do something for me as there are no other options . If I get the DMP up and running with CCCS can I still have the credit card debt checked out to see if it is unenforceable or is that not an option because of the DMP . Any advice would be grateful .

If you know you ran your credit card up then personally I would pay it. I have been on a DMP for years and I hate Lloyds bank but want to pay back what I run up just not the unfair charges and interest which I have stopped from happening. Apologies if I read it wrong what you would like to do.

I am unsure how long it takes to be up and running with CCCS but have you done the letter bit informing them with a token payment of a £1.
