i normally wear my hair down, straightened but thought i would try and make it a lil more glam

Any ideas?

  • What a gorgeous dress!

Its very cute and flirty. How long is your hair? Do you like to wear it up?
  • sorry! should have said!

Hair is just touching my shoulders. Normally just wear it down but thought i would be different this weekend
  • I think as the dress is so cute and girly, maybe try a ponytail. Sometimes I do mine really sleek and glossy, othertimes, a bit messy (with little bits escaping, if you get what I mean).

If you don't really want to put your hair up, something as simple as changing your parting can look loads different. Or use some volumising mousse and blow dry your hair upside down to get more body into your hair. I do this if I want to look a bit more glam.

You could also get some little clips (Claires is good) or those little diamonte things that "screw" into your hair to jazz it up a bit.

Hope I've been of some help. I have long straight hair, and I know how difficult it can be when you fancy a change from your usual look!

Hope you have a fab night out!
  • ty! Was looking at trying to do this: http://hairstylesbob.com/hair/prom-updos-black-hair and with it being messy i wont have a "set" look - can have it a mess and say "its supposed to be like that!" lol

Bit of mousse and stick some rollers in it.

Then shake your hair upside down, give it a bit of a spray and you're ready to go.:)

  • I'd go for the velrco rollers! Don't panic when it starts to drop, it'll look more lived in and sexy.

Don't spray too much hairspray - imagine this... after the date OH goes to run his fingers through your lovely voluminous hair, and then becomes entangled in a bit of hair doused in lacquer..... CRINGE!

Keep it down - it's a lot more youthful/carefree/modern now than an up-do. There's nothing worse than try-hard hair.

Dress is fab. Have a lovely date!
    Two thumbs fresh!:money:
