HitachiPD9700 HD 42IN tv

Currys instore price for this tv is £1799.00 to which i nearly brought , but i thought id wait another day and try to find it cheaper.
Found one here http://www.soundandvisiononline.com/snv/index.asp but never heard of them before so has anyone heard or used these before.
Sorry if this is in wrong forum but it is a amazing price.

I've bought various items from Sound and Vision (TV, amp, speakers) and they're a very good company. They advertise every month in all the TV and Hifi magazines.

The good thing is, they will match prices and you can also get 6-12 months interest free credit.

Also, if you don't live too far away, it's worth visiting their shop so you can see the TV before you buy it. All the staff know what they are talking about, unlike most high street shops.

Hope this has put your mind at rest.

Currys won't price match a web deal, only if it's in a shop within a certain distance from that store and it's in stock. I know Comet is within 10 miles for their price match policy.

officially they wont price match but it might be worth asking because they all do have a little moement on the price - just say have seen it on this website for xxx but would rather buy it from you will you do it for this price??? - dont mention price match just ask for a discount.

Cheaper than Currys @ Dixons , plus there are codes to reduce it even further & don't forget Quidco for 3.5% ( £53 ) . So for £1446 through Quidco you will get it or get them to price match if possible :

As this is an actual bricks and mortar shop as well as a website, and they will (usually!) match the web price in the shop, you can normally get a price match at John Lewis with the 5 year warranty. Just a thought....

That has already got 4 yrs warranty , buy with a Nationwide card & you get another 12 months on top, voila 5yrs . I must say I'm tempted after that review .
