Get yourself a spending diary and stick to it for a couple of months. Firstly you'll get a good idea of where your money's going and secondly having to write everything down will make you think twice about spending in the first place.
I personally agree with others about the lottery...it's one thing to dream, another thing to chuck away £800/year. That's almost the insurance on your first car...A bird in the hand, as they say. That said, it's your money and you can spend it on what you want...After your outgoings, you should still have £500/month and £200/month really ought to be enough to live on whilst working full time (and having meals provided)...That's 2 £20 nights out per week and a new pair of jeans each month or something...0 -
Thanks for your help guys! and thats £200 i saved, did last me a month whilst I was waiting to get paid monthly, So living on £200 is quite easy.
Also, I'll do a spending diary aswell and see where i can cut corners.
I think i'll bulk buy 10 lessons ( because you can get them cheaper ) and go from there really.
also, I'm gunna buy my christmas pressie's in advance which will ease things off by november/december time.
