Tick boxes on application forms

Apologies if this asimple but i get confused sometimes, on an application form where it asks a question and gives 2 boxes to tick, eg 1 questions is [FONT="]"Have you ever received a conviction, caution or bind-over", would i tick the no box to give my answer as no, i dont have any convictions, cautions or bind overs

Yes, you'd tick the 'no' box, if you don't have any convictions, etc.
Similarly you'd tick 'no' if asked about disabilities, if you don't have any.
Or, you'd tick 'yes' when asked about having a full UK driving licence, if you do have one. Or 'no' if you don't.0 -
