Your advisor sounds like a bit of a lazy bones. Don't let him brush you off when you ask questions. Tell him if he doesn't tell you whats happened you will make a complaint he will soon start respondingI am a Mortgage Adviser

thanks for replying MortgageMamma.
I know your right he's lazy and wasted a laot of our time, now im worrying i hope the seller doesnt back out of the sale.
I want to know if the seller now says he does not want to sell the house to us, after all this time, and we have already got a solicitor and paid survay fees and northern rock survey fees and application fees.
all these total about £1000.Could i get this refunded to me?
Because i dont have the house. What can i do? and if i want to complain against the mortgage advisor of the estate agent. how and who do i complain to?
please reply back i wait for your reply,
thanks alot.0 -
Hiya,
Im not an expert by all means but your post didn't make sense to me. Just to clarify, you paid Northern Rock to do your survey AND the estate agents?
Ive never heard of that before, but as i said..i am new to all this too. I thought you just paid the lender for whichever kind of Survey you chose to have.
If you could breakdown the £1000 you've spent, someone might be able to help you better.

If I understand correctly, the EA broker is horsing around. He hasn't delivered you anything, so demand for your survey fees back. I think 4 weeks is reasonble time for them to sort our the survey (although we aren't far off that ourselves too but at least I am aware of what the delays have been)0
