Another job related dilemma...

Right then....as you were so helpful with the last dilemma....
I have a new one...Grateful for any assistance.

I have an interview for a job tomorrow (yey) but I am also waiting to hear about job that I've been put forward for (by an agency), where the interviews are on Tuesday next week.

The job tomorrow, I don't think I will get - as I don't think I fulfill their "ideal" and they are quite prescriptive about the type of person they want.
HOWEVER......just in case they do offer me the job.....how can I say that I want to wait until Tuesday to see if I get the job that I would prefer???

I know that this is all hypothetical, and it is entirely possible that I won't be offered either job- but I'd like to be prepared...!!

I have never been in this situation before - only ever applied for jobs when I was employed, and only one at a time...!!

How likely is it that they will offer the job at interview? If they do, you can accept and then withdraw the acceptance if you get another offer.

Right now there isn't a problem, by Tuesday here's hoping you have a very nice problem to worry about!

Thanks Cazzie - I don't think that they will offer the job at interview - I know that they are interviewing other people, so I'm sure
that some discussion will need to take place.

Like I said, I don't even know if I will be in the situation....
Hopefully on Wednesday (tuesday interviews are having call backs on wednesday!) I will be a very happy Dizz...!!

As it happens - the interview I attended today is having second interviews anyway....and I should know about the other
job by then - fingers crossed...!!!!
