I cannot seem to get my head around when a default will be removed from my credit file.
Default Date Feb 2008
Settled Date (will be) Nov 2010
What happens here?
What will it show as on my credit report? in 6 years?
Will Default be removed in Feb 2014
&
Debt removed in Nov 2016

As i understand the rules the default will be removed in Feb 2014, the entry for the company will then just show you made payments to them and these will drop off in Nov 2016. There may be an arrangement to pay marker on if this is how they've recorded it. I'm sure if i'm not correct someone will be along to put it right soon enough.0

The default should be removed 6 years from the date it was registered, but the account details won't be removed until 6 years from the date the account is settled, and so your payment history will probably appear for 6 years from the date of settlement.0
