Party hire and cupcakes!!

Hi,

I’m having a 21st birthday party in October.

I really want to hire something random for the night…e.g a bucking bronco or oxygen bar (very different I know!) does anyone else have any other suggestions or places that I can hire from that will supply to Wiltshire. Open to all fun suggestions! Share past party experiences!

Also I’m looking to buy some pretty cupcakes – again does anyone know anywhere I can get around 80 for a good price or have you used any places in Wiltshire.

Thank you

:D

    I went to a party once where they had hired inflatable sumo wrestler costumes, it was hilarious to watch!

    Agree with Teresa - went to a party with those sumo suits and it was hysterical to watch.

    Other ideas include:

    * giant versions of popular games
    * casino games (roulette, black jack etc)
    * velcro suit jumping games
    * bungee trampoline
    * foam machine
    * wii games
    * skittles
    * photo booth hire
    * giant floor piano

    Try these for cakes:

    Cupcake Passion, at Studley Grange Craft Village near Junction 16 of the M4 behind Blooms Garden Centre.

    I don't know if they do deals for large quantities. I take my LO's to decorate cakes & we really love it.

    I was meant to have a bucking bronco for my 21st, but it was double booked so I got a bouncy castle instead. I'm sure the bucking bronco would have been fun, but the beauty of the bouncy castle was that everyone could have a go and they didn't worry about feeling embarassed about being watched or have to wait their turn.
    It was such a success I hired one again for my 30th and am considering it for my wedding too!!
  • Try these guys: http://www.rosieandrichards.co.uk in Bristol - we used them for a family birthday party and they were gorgeous! And pretty cheap too....
  • Oooh, and on the random hire stuff, they also do candy buffets.... http://www.rosieandrichards.co.uk/wedding-sweetie-bar - sounds fun?? Though I do like the idea of a bucking bronco! Where would you hire that from??

    have you considered costco for cupcakes, they taste amazing
    the do chocolate ones and vanilla ones
    the choc ones some have fudge on top and others have white choc shavings on top
    the vanilla ones have wither jelly dot things or smartie/sprinkle things on them

    why don't you go to Costco, and get your cakes.. truly FABULOUS, and a fraction of the cost

    20 Huge CupCakes, beautifully decorated £10.oo

    We had a party recently for 60, and got EVERTHING from Costco, the Birthday Cake was MASSIVE, for a mere £12, all they needed was 3 days notice, for the order.

    Check it out, and do your cost comparisons

    Good Luck Honey.. it's hard work organising.. lol lol

    Bonny

    p.s. Sorry YellowRock, and VK-2008, my message crossed with yours, we're both Costco fans.. lol
