Can you play scrabble for money?

I'm not sure which category this comes under so please excuse me if it needs to be moved.
I was thinking lately that I'm fairly good at Scrabble and was wondering if there are any sites that offer this game competitively and allow betting? Similar to how you can play Backgammon for money, I suppose.
And I guess this falls under the same general idea for making money.... does anyone know if it's possible to earn good money (or any money) from playing other skill games online and if so, what have been the best methods for achieving this?
