hope this makes sense.
does anyone know what would happen in this situation.
freind purchased something online,never thought anything of it. via paypal. my other freind has rang my this morn saying shes had purchase come out of her acc she didnt do. at time thought nothing of it. i then thinking about it rang freind and it looks like when using paypal freind a had used freind b card details in error.(freind b had given card details to a sometime last yr for something)
there not freinds anymore and ive had freind a in tears this morning.
she has every intention of paying it back when paid at end of month but is terrified of freind b.
i then get call from freind b saying bank are investigating and she waiting for police to call. shes asked me if she knows what will happen? can anyone help?

Are your 2 friends not speaking at all at the moment? Unless they are on very bad terms then surely a few simple phone calls could sort this. If your friend explains that it was an honest mistake and she is happy to pay it back then would your other friend not be reasonable about it? (though am a little confused about why it wouldn't be until the end of the month, surely if she was making the paypal payment and thought it was going onto her own card or bank account then she had the money in it to pay straight away??)
