To get your standard 8 digit account number, you remove the first digit.make_life_easier wrote:I would like to go onto online banking with A&L but it isn't like my other accounts, with a proper sort code and the account no is only 9 didjits long. can anyone help?
This first digit then goes on the end of 72-50-0 to form your 6 digit sort code.
Example:
If your 9 digit account number is 912345678, then...
Account number is 12345678
Sort code is 72-50-09
It's not but don't worry someone will move it.I hope this is the right forum
