Eames DSR Chairs

Hi,

I love these chairs and looking to buy the four seen here...http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/house-tours/nikky-brian-are-making-room-for-baby-house-call-123597?image_id=1659662 from a UK shop to be delivered to NI. Anyone any ideas?

I have looked at http://vertigo-interiors.co.uk/ but their website looks a bit dodgy. Anyone had an dealings with them?

They've got a good price on the S chairs!

I've been watching a few sets on ebay as there are also some good prices on there - some slightly than that website. I've been looking for the DSW chairs but because the S chairs were way out of budget - so that's an interesting find there!

The DSR chair that I already have I bought from dwell when I had a 15% off discount but they've put the prices up recently as well which makes them not so competitive.

EDIT:vertigo are on ebay too. 1416 - 99.8% feedback so they look pretty legit.

Thanks. Having problems actually getting a company who sell the colours that I want. but will keep looking. I want Baby Blue, White, Light Green and Red.

Is your DSR Matt or Gloss and Plastic or Fibreglass?

Can I ask where you got your Dwell discount code from? I have been looking for ages and have been unsuccessful. They currently have 15% off their new autumn range however the products I am after are from the existing range.

Just found out Dwell are running 20% off online until the 1st September. No code required, discount applied at checkout

we bought our eames chairs from Pink Apple (they had 15% off at the time)
also worth trying utility designs

no sale atm, but worth waiting for

When you say genuine, I assume you mean original? All these chairs are based on the original design which appeared earlier in the 20th century, 50's I think. Got to be wary that different companies sell different colous made from different materials. I'm getting the cheaper plastic versions in pastel colours.

Glad you got what you wanted and thankyou for the heads-up as well but it doesn't seem to work!? Going off to look...

Mine was, if you join the mailing list they will send you brochures with discounts in and they started increasing the discount.

My budget doesn't stretch to eight 'real' ones! I could make the kids eat on the floor though

You should use a company called Couch Potato Company. They can offer you a discount and have delivered to NI for me before.
