21st Birthday Ideas

Hi,

It's my 21st birthday in October, I wasn't going to have a party but everyone has said a 21st is a must!! I don't really want to spend a lot of money and would preferably like to have it either at my Mum's (big garden) or in a hall...but I am open to all ideas!!

One problem...I like to be different. My two favourite ideas are...
1. Mum's garden, Marquee, Make shift bar, Bunking Bronco
2. Hall - casino hire equipment

However, looking at the internet at these options I have found that they are working out quite pricey!! I live in Wiltshire so will be having the party there.

Really want something a bit different, fun and not too expensive. Alcohol is a must!

Has anyone thrown/attended any weird and wonderful parties?? Give me some inspiration pleeease!!

Would be really helpful if anyone could give me some other fun ideas or anywhere I could get the above at good prices.

Thank you!!

Louise

  • Check the end of season sales for a large gazebo, or try your local yahoo freecycle group for any going free, or even your paper for any second hand ones.

We have a local company in somerset that hires out bucking broncos and other brilliant inflatables which are ideal for a garden party if you have a big enough garden.

I am sure maybe a few friends have optics that you could borrow, get everyone to bring a bottle.

One thing with hiring a hall you will have to clear up, will you really want to find someone to offer to do this after alcohol!

  • Alternatively, I just thought for my 21st, I had a joint party with my friend. Black tie and ball gown - reminiscing from our school prom! But the place (our local rugby club) had a bar so we didnt have to worry about alcohol but we did have to tidy up the food and plates etc afterwards
