My best day ever!!!

Ok, not technically a win, but this is far, FAR better!!

My weekend has been quite possibly the worst weekend I have ever had on this earth.

All my kids (4 youngest) have been ill this last week with a nasty virus, flu type with tonsillitis, & Friday night I was up all night with both my sons, me & OH had caught it & both felt terrible. Anyway, my OH woke up & couldn't swallow & could barely breathe, so he had to go to hospital on Saturday morning, early hours, with a Quinsy. He was terrible, really poorly with it.
So, I was up with having only 2 hours sleep, so poorly that I could barely lift my head up & having to look after 4 kiddies, 2 of whom were really ill themselves. The day is a bit of a blur tbh, I just don't know how I got through it. I have never felt as ill as I did then. It was such a struggle. MIL phoned later in the eve to ask if I wanted her to have a couple of the kiddies to help out, but also told me that my SIL (her daughter, who's 32) was in intensive care with a suspected heart attack (she has been ill for a while with lupus & failed kidney transplants). I am quite close to SIL so it was horrible news & obviously I would not put it on MIL to have the kids with so much on her plate!!
Yesterday wasn't too bad, felt better after a good nights sleep, kids had perked up a little, but OH was still kept in, things hadn't improved all that much & he'd has his throat lanced (slit open) & drained TWICE, with no anesthetic

Lack of sleep last night & kids getting me up at 5am has made me particularly grumpy today. Housebound & have ran out of painkillers, milk & a few other things. My throat is so sore I can barely swallow, so painkillers would be very welcome right about now. Was feeling seriously down & fed up, missing OH more than anything, he text last night to say he probably wont be able to come today :(

Well, 30 mins ago I got a text to say HE'S COMING HOMEEE!!!! I actually cried a little bit. Amazing, so happy, am a great big sap but I've missed him & missed adult intelligence ;)

And, as I have been writing this, my little (well, she's 21) sister has just come round with a box of painkillers :D

Today is the best day ever :) Better than any wins, made me far happier & has signified the end of a truly !!!!!! weekend!!!!

Sorry to go on :o Happy Happy :)
:) xx JoJo xx :)

:heart2: And only now I see the light...
:heart2:
