Did i win ????

Hi.

I was reading one of the forums on here and someone had said that they googled their name and found that they had won a competition.

I did the same, and guess what...my name appeared on the spoiled brat comp to win an Alice in Wonderland DVD and a necklace. I went onto the Spoliled brat website to check and there it was again. Now my surname is not the most common, and i know i entered the competition, but no one contacted me to say i'd won. I emailed the website last week to ask if they could confirm it may be me but have yet to receive a reply and the terms and conditions state that they will contact you within 48 hours if you are a winner and prizes must be claimed within 28 days (i think the comp finished on 4th July).

Is there anything else i can do, or is it too late ??? Can anyone help ??

Give them another week to reply, often prizes come from promoters and not the the site u won it off.
Some promoters take up to 6 weeks to send out prizes. the 48hrs in the holidays could go out the window, so i wouldn't worry too much yet.

I agree Toniq that prizes can take a while to come out, but might be worth checking with Spoiled Brat because when this happened to me last week, I contact the competition runner, and they thought everything had been sent out...and certainly in mycase it looks like the prize distributor made an error.
