Egg mortgage deal ending - advice please

We have had our mortgage with Egg since we bought our house in 1999 and have found it great, always competitive. We now owe around 42k and are paying 1.24%
for another 16 months. I think there are ERC's, am looking for paperwork to check.
We remortgaged to buy another property and on that we owe 58k net of offset, 1.49%
. Unfortunately that deal runs out in Dec.
Egg have been 'reviewing their mortgage range' for around 2 years now, ever since credit crunch stuck. Am guessing they will stick us on a really high SVR - can't find on their site what it is.
Has anyone any experience of what is happening with them at present? I've messaged them but not too hopeful of a useful reply.
Will probably go to FD if we move, hoping to pay all off in next 6 years.
Thanks.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
