Wedding evening entertainment- Solo guitarist

Hello

Does anyone have any contacts for reasonably priced solo guitarist available for doing a midweek wedding reception in Belfast. Would only be for around 1 1/2 hrs before dj comes on. Would prefer rock/pop if possible. If so, what proce do they charge roughly.

Thanks

Hi if you want to Pm me date & venue I may be able to get someone for you. However, bear in mind that by the time your venue get room cleared and reset for evening function there may not be 1 1/2 hrs. Also if there is a lot of noise he/she may not be heard. I have done weddings lately were there has been Harpist / Musicians and due to noise of guests talking they could hardly be heard. I have to admit for what I was able to hear was lovely.

Do you mean an acoustic guitar player or do you mean a "one man band" with his own PA system and backing tracks etc, it's just that a solo guitarist doing rock and pop may be a bit hard to come by.

Was possibly looking for guitar player/singer who has a wide repetoir. The venue for evening reception is in different room from day reception so room will be free all day for any set up thats necessary. There will be a dj on from around 9:15 so just looking for someone for around 1 1/2 hrs.
  • I have a friend who has a huge repertoire and also teaches guitar, and indeed is a regular on here! If you PM me I'll give you his number
