Morrisons- Pasta & Dolmio Sauce 3 for 1!

Been morrisons this morning. They have 1kg bags of pasta on buy one get two free (£1.95) and also small jars of original and original light dolmio bolognese sauce on buy one get two free (£1.37)

I went today and got the 3 jars of Dolmio for £1.37... they had run out of the 1kg packs of pasta though.

I haven't had Dolmio for a while, but I was tempted by this offer. I don't know if they've changed the recipe recently, or if I just bought a rogue batch, but I was quite disappointed that it contained several massive, unappetising chunks of onion which I had to fish out, taking much of the sauce with it. I'll stick to Homepride and Ragu in future I think...

I agree, dolmio is horrible. You can make gallons of your own for a quid. With those jars theres never enough either

Was in-store today. Couple in front had nine jars of the sauce. Cashier was going to say they could only have two sets (6 jars) but they pointed out there were two people who were shopping together.
