Dark Chocolate KitKat 9 pack only 50p at Asda

Just as it says in the title really, sorry I don't know if this is the price nationwide as not advertised as being on offer. I bought mine in the Benton, North Tyneside store. They are the 9 x 2 finger Kit Kat bars, only the dark chocolate ones were priced at 50p, the others were all full price.

  • Good spot!!

We have successfully finished the chunky kitkats from Sainsbury's and the cupboard is looking bare!

It seems to be online too so not just your store.

    Thank you :)

50p each or 2 for £2.50, how do they pick their prices?

That's probably to make sure people only buy one pack & don't clear the shelves like locusts.

If any customer has the nerve to do this, then I'd suggest going through the till and asking them to put through 1 at a time, then settling the bill for 50p each time, but if you want to look a little less obvious, then if you have a large shop to do at the same time, put it through the tills in a few different shops with 1 Kit Kat in each sale.

Or better still, go through the self service tills, and pay separately.

Each pack goes through at 50p and the '2 for 2.50' offer does not kick in at the till. I know this for certain as I only bought two packs (so much willpower!) and checked my till receipt afterwards to make sure. So it is not a glitch and I guess it doesn't matter how many packs you buy in with one shop, they will go through at 50p each. I always think its such a shame when people clear the shelves rather than just take advantage of a good offer and leave some for others.

I bet thats an offer on the full price. Someone didn't change the shelf edge when they were reduced.

No, that is on the website, click the link, they are forever doing similar things.
